All individual and overall contest entries due February 10, 2024

Except for Yearbook – overall 

  • 2022-2023 were due June-Sept. 2022
  • 2023-2024 will be due June-Sept. 2023, details will be announced in May 2023

SUBMISSIONS

This year, entries to the MIJA JDay Spring Contests will be submitted using BetterBNC Media Awards Platform.

Below are directions for preparing and submitting entries: (BetterBNC on page 9)

2024 Instructions to MIJA Schools/Teachers/Students

 

  • Overall entries are judged on their individual merits and awarded points based on the judge’s rubric: 
    • All-Missouri – 450-500 points
    • Superior – 400-449 points
    • Excellent – 350-399 points
    • Honorable Mention – 300-349 points
    • No Award – below 299 points

 

  • Individual entries are awarded ratings by “top 10%”:
    • Best of Show
    • All-Missouri – top 10%
    • Superior – next 10%
    • Excellent – next 10%
    • Honorable Mention – next 10%
    • No Award – Below 60%
