SUBMISSIONS
This year, entries to the MIJA JDay Spring Contests will be submitted using BetterBNC Media Awards Platform.
Below are directions for preparing and submitting entries: (BetterBNC on page 9)
2024 Instructions to MIJA Schools/Teachers/Students
- Overall entries are judged on their individual merits and awarded points based on the judge’s rubric:
- All-Missouri – 450-500 points
- Superior – 400-449 points
- Excellent – 350-399 points
- Honorable Mention – 300-349 points
- No Award – below 299 points
- Individual entries are awarded ratings by “top 10%”:
- Best of Show
- All-Missouri – top 10%
- Superior – next 10%
- Excellent – next 10%
- Honorable Mention – next 10%
- No Award – Below 60%
