Judges Comments: The emotion of the main subject, as well as the unique angle and lighting make draw the viewer into this picture.
SECOND PLACE: Ali Thuet, Francis Howell High School
Judges Comments: The clarity, focus and capturing the moment at the peak of action impressed us. The fact that both of the players eyes are open is also noticable.
THIRD PLACE: Manford Stallings/North Kansas City High School
Judges Comments: The lighting and texture of this photo really make it stand out.
HONORABLE MENTION:
OBSERVING THE OPERA Senior Olivia Dolton sings “Think of me” on the opening night of Musical on Nov 17. Dolton was casted as Christine Daaé the main female lead in Phantom of the Opera. This isn't Doltons first lead at LHS since she previously was casted as Mary Poppions a couple years back. “Being the lead for the school is a big responsibility, but for months we put in the hours to make sure me and my fellow castmates can deliver an amazing performance," said Dolton.
