Each year, MIJA sponsors JDay on the MU campus where it welcomes over 1,000 students and teachers. During JDay, we offer spaces for businesses, organizations and programs to meet and connect with MIJA members. Consider this the one opportunity to directly share or market what you or your business, program or organization has to offer scholastic journalism students and publications.
Vendor space used to be limited to a few tables in the Jesse Auditorium lobby.
Vendors in Jesse Hall will be the first to greet students and teachers as they arrive early before the morning keynote, They’ll also see a lot of traffic as students head to their first break-out sessions. In addition, these vendors have a third opportunity to connect as students and teachers return from lunch and sessions before the afternoon awards ceremony.
As a vendor, the benefits to you and your business/organization are also many fold, including:
- face-to-face contact with students and teachers from across the state
- recognition at JDay on the MU campus
- the considerable gratitude of MIJA’s members, board of directors and students across the state of Missouri
