Updated Information/Deadlines for Overall Yearbook Contest

Spring delivery yearbooks need to be postmarked by July 31, 2021.

Fall delivery yearbooks need to be postmarked by September 11, 2021.

"In a tearful embrace during the Falcon Brigade’s Senior Night Oct. 25, senior Leah Folkman hugs junior Salma Castillo. At halftime, seniors were recognized and stepped out of their shoes to make way for underclassmen. “It was definitely an emotional feeling,” Castillo said. “I have a lot of friends that are seniors this year, since I’m a junior this year, and watching them have them their last marching season and knowing mine was coming up, too, was a sad feeling, but also a joyous feeling because I’m glad I got to be there in that moment with them.”

"It is no secret that we've struggled the last few years, but we are now a new team, a new brotherhood, and a new family." This game against Warsaw on Aug. 30 was the Cardinal's first of the season.

CoMo: When looking at this, all you see to the naked eye is graffiti on a cement wall. What you don’t see is the history behind the artwork. “I think it makes me remember that Columbia is cooler than you think it is,” receptionist Carson Bierman said. There is more to the artwork because it speaks for the people, and represents Columbia, Missouri.

Richland sophomore Tucker Miller (left) puts up a shot over Dexter senior Logan Josupait during the second quarter of their contest on Monday night. Miller hit the bucket, but the Rebels never could get their offense going as the Rebels fell 84-30. With the loss for Richland and the win for the Bearcats, both teams’ records now stand at 4-2. The Rebels and Bearcats are both scheduled to play in the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament next week, with Dexter seeded in the No. 1 spot and Richland coming in at No. 12.

Wilbur the pig, played by senior Anna Wright, grasps for freedom from the Zimmerman's oven during her performance in "Charlotte's Web." This was Wright's favorite moment in the play. "I'm picturing running from an intruder or just like a monster," Wright says about what goes through her head during the scene. "Theater is important to me because it is a way to get a bunch of people with nothing to do in common in the same room to laugh together, to cry together, and teach moral lessons right in front of their eyes. And it's really fun."
