We are so excited to bring our members a new, streamlined online submission process for our 48th annual MIPA journalism contests!
In this LINK, you will find a letter explaining our 2016-2017 MIPA Journalism Day contests in detail. You can also find an overview of all general categories on the MIPA website individual contest page.
This year, we aren’t using school folders and you don’t even have to worry about complicated file names—with our new online submission form, the only thing you need to worry about is submitting the correct TYPE and SIZE of file. It’s SO easy:
- Each PHOTO should be submitted as a JPG file of no more than 2MB
- Each DESIGN should be submitted as one PDF file of no more than 25MB
- Each WRITING should be submitted as one PDF file of no more than 25MB
- Each BROADCAST/RADIO/WEB should be submitted as a URL
*PLEASE make sure when you are uploading files that the file completely uploads before you click submit—a blue bar will appear with the file’s name to indicate it has uploaded. If you do not do this, your entry will be incomplete.*
The same online form is used for all individual and overall contests (except Yearbook Overall, which is done after books are published in the spring/fall). The link to submit is below and on the MIPA website in several places, as well as in the letter linked above.
If you have questions at any time during the contest, do not hesitate to contact the MIPA office at [email protected] or 573-882-6031.
